You’ll get an email once you’ve met either of the below eligibility thresholds. All YPP applications are serviced in the order they’re received by us. Keep in mind delays are possible due to higher-than-usual application volumes, system issues, or resource limitations. We’ll get back to you with a decision once your channel is reviewed (typically in about 1 month). Check back in the Earn section of YouTube Studio anytime to see the status of your application. Once you accept YPP terms and link an active AdSense for YouTube account, your channel will automatically be put in a review queue.
Check your Internet speed and data usage

If you’ve met the threshold and applied for YPP, we’ll still review your channel for YPP suitability. Your channel also must not have any active Community Guidelines strikes in order to apply. Every channel that meets the threshold will go through a standard review process. Current members of the program won't be removed when receiving Community Guidelines strikes. You can also apply after you've successfully appealed to have your Community Guidelines strikes removed. If you have active Community Guidelines strikes on your channel, you can apply after your strikes expire.

The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) gives creators greater access to YouTube resources and monetization features, and access to our Creator Support teams. We’ll send you an email once the expanded YPP program is available to you and you’ve reached the eligibility thresholds. Sometimes channels require multiple reviews, especially when several reviewers disagree on your channel’s suitability for YPP. Once done, you’ll see In Progress in the Get Reviewed step, which means we have your application! You can easily find destination pages to popular content categories by tapping the Explore menu . We also make sure the phone number is linked to no more than 2 channels per year. To verify your channel, you’ll be asked to enter a phone number. In this case, you are not yet eligible to receive a share of the revenue. If a channel is inactive and has not uploaded or posted posts for 6 months or more, YouTube reserves the right to remove its monetization. Note that a channel needs to complete all the YPP signup steps (which currently include signing the contract and associating an AdSense for YouTube account) before they will be reviewed.
